_COLLIE DUGONGS – MS 24HOUR MEGASWIM 2010

The ‘Collie Dugongs’ participated on 26 and 27 February in the MS 24-Hour Mega Swim at the Fitzroy Pool for the seventh year. The event raises money for multiple sclerosis and the Dugongs have been very active with their fundraising, including hosting Bunnings barbeques (thank you to Bunnings).

The Collie Dugongs swam 70.60 kilometres and raised $11,500. The overall event raised a record $275,000.

To all of you who helped the team, either by donating money or taking time to drop into Fitzroy Pool over the 24 hours to cheer on the Dugongs, we thank you.
