Collie has provided town planning services to Lawport Property Group (Lawport) in relation to various land holdings in the Taylors Hill West PSP area on Melbourne’s western development front in the City of Melton.

Initially, Collie provided advice to Lawport in relation to the structure planning process that was being undertaken by the then Shire of Melton, before to the creation of the Urban Growth Zone (UGZ).  Taylors Hill West subsequently became one of the first PSPs to be approved under the new UGZ approach, with Collie providing town planning advice throughout this process.

More recently and following approval of the PSP, Collie has prepared planning permit applications to subdivide three separate land holdings.  Collie worked closely with Lawport and its project team to prepare these planning permit applications, which also included extensive liaison with the City of Melton with regard to various teething issues with the PSP and other design matters.

We are happy to announce that planning permits have now been issued by the City of Melton for approximately 850 lots across the three land holdings.  The Point Estate and Orbis Green have subsequently been put out to the market with pre-sales well advanced and construction of the subdivision underway in the early stages.
