Collie has worked recently with Marais Pty Ltd and F2 Architecture to obtain a permit for buildings and works for a proposed new retail complex near Exhibition Street.

The building was constructed during the late nineteenth century and is located within the Bourke Hill heritage precinct.  While the building is not significant in its own right, it contributes to the architectural and social character of the Bourke Hill precinct.

The three-story building will house retail specialty brands in sub-stores on two floors and associated administration, media and meeting spaces on the third floor.

The existing building will be extended on all levels to occupy vacant or under-utilised space at the rear of the site.  It will also have alterations to the front windows / entry area but not the façade overall.
