_NEW MASTERS IN SHEPPARTON

Collie was pleased to have provided town planning services in a planning permit application granted earlier this week for a new Masters Home Improvement store in Shepparton.

The new Masters store will be located on the corner of Florence Street and Midland Highway opposite the Shepparton Marketplace, to the east of the Shepparton town centre.

Collie was engaged by Masters to prepare, submit and manage the submission of the planning permit application to Greater Shepparton City Council for the new store.  The planning permit was granted within 4 months of the date of lodgement, a relatively quick timeframe for an application of this size and nature.  This time line was achieved through extensive pre and post-application liaison with a helpful and efficient Greater Shepparton City Council town planning department.  The project is an example of what can be achieved when a collaborative approach is taken by all parties.

In addition to the Masters store, the site will include other complementary retail outlets that will be established over a period of time once the Masters store has opened.

Masters is one of a number of new home improvement and bulky good stores that is being developed in a former industrial precinct in Shepparton.  We look forward to the commencement of works on the site later this year.
