We wish Collie Town Planner Tessa Bond the best of luck, as she travels to Edinburgh, Scotland, to perform in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (REMT). The REMT is an annual event held on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. This year the event will run from 7-29 August with a total of 21 performances over the three weeks. The annual audience is around 220,000 and around 100 million watch the REMT each year on international television. The REMT brings together thousands of people from around the world for an annual celebration of music and entertainment. The theme of this year’s event is ‘East Meets West’ and will include pipers, drummers, singers and dancers from around the world.
Tess is part of the the highland dance team which comprises 66 dancers who come from Australia, USA, Canada and the UK.
