_Subdivision Approved

Subdivision Approved

Collie recently assisted a client in obtaining town planning approval for an eight lot subdivision in Oakbank Boulevard, Whittlesea.

Before lodging the application, Collie assisted the client in negotiating with the City of Whittlesea in relation to an existing Section 173 Agreement affecting the land,  which required it to be developed as a community focal area and prohibited residential development (for a specified period).

After Collie was able to negotiate an outcome with the City of Whittlesea that enabled a subdivision to occur for residential development.  Collie lodged a planning permit application which ultimately resulted in the approval of the eight lot subdivision.

The approved subdivision will contribute towards developing one of the few remaining vacant lots in the northern section of Whittlesea, which has undergone significant residential development in the last ten years.

In addition to providing town planning services, Collie also prepared the subdivision layout after consultation with the client.

Collie also assisted in responding to a request for further information from the City of Whittlesea, which resulted in the planning permit being issued.
