_Highlands Approval
Collie recently assisted Stockland in obtaining town planning approval for a number of applications in ‘Highlands’ Craigieburn.
The first approval was subdivision plan 11c (SP11c), which is located in the north-east of Highlands and will have a significant frontage to Mt Ridley Road, a major east-west arterial road and one of the main entries to Highlands. SP11c also adjoins Parkside Rise, a key entry point to this part of Highlands. Significant landscape works are proposed adjacent to both Mt Ridley Road and Parkside Rise to frame this entry and provide a sense of arrival to this part of Highlands.
The second approval was the re-endorsement of the subdivision plan 20c (SP20c), which will comprise over 570 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities. SP20c (layout below) will also contain an area of regional open space, which in addition to providing wetland and recreational facilities, will feature the Mickleham Homestead heritage site.
Collie looks forward to the development of these new parts of Highlands.
