Collie is pleased to have assisted the client recently with town planning investigations as part of its due diligence relating to the possible purchase of land for a lifestyle village within the Armstrong Creek urban growth area located approximately 6 kilometres to the south of the Geelong CBD.

As part of its role, Collie provided detailed town planning advice on the planning scheme as well as reviewed the relevant Precinct Structure Plan in order to confirm that the site is suitable for the proposed use and identify any opportunities and constraints.

Collie recommended also various changes to the draft development concept to increase its compliance with planning objectives for the site and increase the likelihood of obtaining a planning permit.  Collie also facilitated a meeting with the City of Greater Geelong (CoGG) town planning department in order to gauge its initial reactions to the proposal.

An excerpt from the draft concept is provided below and Collie hopes to continue its role on the project.
