_Warehouse Extension in Notting Hill

Collie recently assisted the client in providing town planning services in relation to an extension of an existing warehouse and associated reduction in car parking requirements for a site in the Notting Hill industrial area.

Collie worked closely with the client in advising on the town planning issues in order to develop a proposal that would be supported by Monash City Council.

As part of our town planning services, Collie was able to advise the client that the application qualified for assessment under the VicSmart application pathway.  The benefits of the VicSmart application pathway include the following.

  • A ten day permit process.
  • Applications are not advertised.
  • Information to be submitted with an application and what the responsible authority can consider is pre-set.
  • Reduced application fee compared to standard planning permit applications.
