_New Childcare for Melbourne’s West

Collie recently worked with Stockland to obtain town planning approval for a 124 place childcare centre in Truganina.

The development, situated on the corner of Altezze Drive and Altar Street, has been approved recently by the Melton City Council planning department, with construction to commence shortly.

Collie prepared the town planning report and collated the planning permit application package for submission to Council.  Furthermore, Collie worked closely with the project team in advising on variations to the design of the development to increase the likelihood of Council support.

Post lodgment of the application, Collie provided a written response to objections and was involved in negotiations with Council that resulted in minor changes to the design, which allowed a notice of decision to grant a planning permit to be issued by Council.  As the decision was not appealed by objectors, a planning permit was subsequently issued.

Collie looks forward to the completion of the project and its contribution to the Stockland Grandview residential masterplanned community.
