Collie worked with Stockland to obtain town planning approval for the first stages of its new residential masterplanned community known as ‘Lyra’ in the north of Melbourne.

As part of our role on the project, we reviewed the conditions of the existing planning permit obtained by the previous landowner and sought to amend the permit to suit the subdivision design that is preferred by Stockland.

The first stages of the subdivision comprise:

  • 395 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities;
  • a local park;
  • a government primary school site;
  • a future indoor recreation facility;
  • a waterway corridor for drainage and passive recreation.
