_ACTION OUT WEST

The client, who specialises in selling automotive parts and accessories, was considering new sites and their appropriateness for the proposed use.

The first site was in the City of Stirling and covered by the Mixed Business Zone.  The proposed use proved possible, categorised as ‘showroom’, which allows for the display, sale by wholesale or retail, or hire, of automotive parts and accessories.

The second site in the City of Bunbury was covered by the Service Commercial Zone, under which the proposed use is categorised as ‘bulky goods showroom’, which allows sale by retail of automotive parts and accessories.  As the land use is permitted under the relevant zone, a development approval is not required for the proposed use.

A positive result for the client, who is considering its options.
