_MORE LAND IN RESERVE

Back in mid-2021, Collie assisted ID_Land in obtaining town planning approval for a new residential masterplanned community known as ‘The Reserve’.  The Reserve is located in the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth area, approximately 6 kilometres south of the Geelong CBD.

We were pleased to hear recently that a planning permit had been issued by the City of Greater Geelong (Council) for a second stage of the development.

The recently approved subdivision comprises at total of 255 lots with a mix of conventional and medium residential densities.  In addition, a heavily treed large conservation area (2.613 hectares) is co-located with a local park and will be the focal point of the Reserve community.  In addition to expansive areas of public open space, The Reserve will also be within walking distance of a future neighbourhood activity centre.

Following the preparation and submission of the town planning application, Collie assisted with reviewing the subdivision plan and advising on changes to the design to maximise the likelihood of obtaining town planning approval.  Collie also worked closely with the project team and in addition to responding to a request for further information, was involved in attending a post-lodgement meeting with Council and in various follow up discussions, which resulted in the issue of the planning permit.

As shown below, construction of the first few stages in the first stage of the development have commenced and we look forward to the project unfolding.
