_Victoria Stays in the Red

The Victorian election result (well the interim result while vote counting continues) sees unsurprisingly the continuation of a Labor government in Victoria, under Dan Andrews.  On the other side of the main divide, Matthew Guy has suffered his second election defeat as the Liberal leader and has announced he will not contest the post-election leadership position. 

The Labor election campaign included a variety of promises, some of which are slated to be implemented in the term of the new Government and it will be interesting to see how things transpire over the next four years; one thing is certain and that is that there will be changes from the last Ministry as a result of the pre-election resignations of a number of Ministers.
