_WATTLE PARK

Collie worked with Stockland to obtain town planning approval for its new residential masterplanned community known as ‘Wattle Park’ in the west of Melbourne.

As part of our role on the project, we provided town planning advice on various heritage matters in relation to the protection of an existing homestead as well as on numerous iterations of the draft planning permit conditions.

Some of the key features of the project include:

• 812 residential lots;
• a large conservation reserve abutting the Werribee River for inclusion as part of the future Werribee Township Regional Park;
• large sports reverses and a future community centre;
• a number of local parks;
• a heritage park which retains the heritage significant farmstead.

Collie looks forward to continuing to work with the project team to satisfy conditions of the planning permit and the project commencing.
