_Aurora Business Park Set for Development

Collie has continued its role in providing town planning assistance to Development Victoria in relation to a permit application for the subdivision of land to enable the development of the new ‘Aurora Business Park’ (ABP).

The ABP is on the northeast corner of the Hume Freeway and O’Herns Road in Epping in the City of Whittlesea.  It is within an identified secondary activity centre.

The ABP will be the newest addition to the extensive and successful Aurora development.

The subdivision comprises twenty lots, from 1,400 square metres to 11,300 square metres, intended to suit a range of business and employment opportunities for industry, commercial or larger format retail premises or ‘bulky goods’ outlets.  ABP also includes a drainage reserve and sizeable public open space reserve (4,120 square metres) which will feature seating areas, a half basketball court, fitness equipment, extensive landscaping and an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Site for retention.

In a related proposed development, Collie assisted with planning permit application (and recent permit / endorsed plans) for the creation of the future arterial Koukoura Drive, which coincidentally, will provide the key access to the ABP.

Collie is looking forward to seeing development commencing at the ABP.
