_Coles Craigieburn Village Grand Opening
Collie was pleased to be invited to the grand opening of Coles Craigieburn Village.
The opening day was well attended with the 200 plus car spaces in the centre car park being fully occupied.
In addition to acknowledging the efforts of the project team, the purpose of the grand opening was to congratulate the Coles supermarket and Liquorland teams for their efforts over the past eight weeks in getting the stores ready for the opening as well as to recognise Coles’ ongoing partnerships with the Salvation Army and its new partnership with the Newbury Primary School in Craigieburn.
Upon the cutting of the ribbon, it was pleasing to see customers flowing through the supermarket turnstiles!
Some impressive features of the project are the new look modern façade of the supermarket building and the number of covered car spaces that were popular amongst shoppers.
In addition to the supermarket, it was also pleasing to see that the fifteen specialty retail stores open for some early trading.
Collie was pleased to have assisted Coles in providing both town planning and landscape architecture services for the project.
