_Rural Subdivision and Apartment Development
Collie assisted recently with a planning permit application for a four-lot rural subdivision with each lot greater than 40 hectares. The subject land is in the Gisborne area in a rural conservation zone under the Macedon Ranges Planning Scheme, is largely cleared of vegetation and has been used for cattle grazing.
The permit (as a result of a VCAT order) includes conditions which are aimed at improving the environmental qualities of the land through a series of initiatives including land management requirements.
. . . and on a different note, it is great to see an apartment development (fully sold) nearing completion on which Collie provided town planning assistance including in gaining a permit via VCAT (reported in a previous Newsfeed).
