_MORACK GOLF COURSE REDEVELOPMENT

The redevelopment (pictured below) of the Morack Golf Course is nearing completion and Collie recently assisted Engine Room VM in obtaining a planning permit to allow for the sale and consumption of liquor on the premises.

In addition to preparing and managing the town planning permit application, our role on the project involved preparing a written response to concerns raised by objectors and extensive negotiations with Whitehorse City Council.

The issue of the permit will allow the operator, Swing Factory, to proceed with obtaining a liquor license and we look forward to the completion of the project in the coming months.

As mentioned previously, the redevelopment will comprise:

  • a multipurpose clubhouse with outdoor seating overlooking the golf course and bushland surrounds;
  • a 24-bay driving range with ball-tracing technology installed in every bay;
  • an architecturally designed 18-hole mini-golf facility;
  • a golf pro shop and muti-purpose event spaces.
