_FINAL STAGES OF GLENLEE APPROVED

Over the past six years Collie has been working with ID Land to obtain town planning approvals for its masterplanned community in Armstrong Creek known as ‘Glenlee’.

More recently, Collie assisted in the preparation and submission of an application to amend the planning permit and was involved in post-lodgement discussions with planners at the City of Greater Geelong (Council) and the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CCMA).  We are pleased to advise that the application has since been approved by Council.

The approved amendment related to the further subdivision of four existing superlots to create an addition 44 residential lots as part of the remaining stages of Glenlee.

The four superlots were approved during the original planning permit application, but could not be further subdivided until the Floodway Overlay (FO) affecting the land was removed.

Collie was involved in preparing a submission in support of Planning Scheme Amendment C339 (Amdt C339) and is pleased to advise that the removal of the FO in its full form has been removed from the subject land with this change having recently been gazetted in the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.

We look forward to the ongoing development of Glenlee with the completed regional park (pictured below) and the surrounding medium density housing being one of the key features of the project.
