_Expansion to Highlands West

Collie assisted Stockland with obtaining town planning approval for the residential subdivision of land within the Craigieburn West Precinct Structure Plan area.  The approved subdivision, known as ‘Development Plan 42’, represents another expansion to its award winning ‘Highlands’ masterplanned community.

The approved subdivision comprises:

  • 270 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities;
  • areas of open space in the form of a local park and green links;
  • a drainage reserve.

Collie prepared the town planning permit application package and worked closely with the project team to satisfy Hume City Council (Council) and Melbourne Water requests for further information, which culminated in the issue of the planning permit.

As part of a role on the project, Collie assisted in negotiations between the adjoining landowner as well as Council to accommodate appropriate connections between land parcels while ensuring any changes to the subdivision would result in a design layout that was acceptable to Stockland.

Collie looks forward to development of the project commencing and its contribution to the Highlands community.
