_New Childcare Coming to Officer

Collie worked with the client to obtain town planning approval for a 144-place childcare centre in Officer. 

The development is situated within the Officer Precinct Structure Plan area, directly across from a future Neighbourhood Convenience Centre and within close proximity to a future community centre as well as a number of planned and existing schools.  The new childcare centre will integrate well the abovementioned facilities and will be supported by surrounding residential development that is under construction. 

Collie prepared the town planning report and collated the planning permit application package for submission to Cardina Shire Council.  Furthermore, Collie worked closely with the project team through the request for further information process to address potential amenity impacts to increase the likelihood of Council approval. 

Collie looks forward to the completion of the project and its contribution to the new Stockland ‘Starling’ masterplanned community.
