_NEW STAGES ADDED FOR HIGHLANDS
Since the original planning permit for Development Plan Area 40 (DP40) in Stockland’s masterplanned community ‘Highlands’ was issued in 2022, Collie continues to provide post-permit town planning assistance.
More recently, Collie assisted in the preparation and submission of an application to amend the planning permit and was involved in post-lodgment discussion with planners at Hume City Council (Council) and the project team. We are pleased to advise that the application has been approved by Council with the proposed amendments to include:
- The expansion of the subject land creating two new stages and an increase in the total number of lots by 164 lots;
- Changes to various permit conditions to facilitate the development of the above lots, including the inclusion of early earthworks conditions.
The two new stages, stages 430 and 431, will adjoin a large future areas of open space in the form of a sports reserve and a conservation reserve which will provide a high level of amenity to future residents of the site and residents more broadly within the Craigieburn West Precinct Structure Plan area.
As evidenced below, the development of DP40 is well underway with some early stages having now been completed. We look forward to seeing the development of the remainder of DP40 and other projects within Highlands unfold.
