Collie recently assisted a client in obtaining a development consent approval for the development of an additional dwelling and subdivision, of a lot in Union Road, North Albury.
The site includes an existing dwelling which is proposed to be retained, while a new prefabricated portable dwelling will be constructed in the rear of the site, accessible via a new battle-axe driveway.
Collie worked with the project team in advising on built form requirements in order to develop a proposal that would be supported by Albury City Council (Council).
As part of the role, Collie prepared a town planning report including a detailed assessment against the relevant planning provisions and lodged the application. Collie also assisted in responding to a request for further information and negotiating with Council to resolve some minor issues in order for the development consent approval to be issued.
