_Early Bulk Earthworks Approval Saves Time
Collie recently assisted Stockland with post-permit applications to enable the commencement of early bulk earthworks of stages at Highlands, across multiple permit stages.
The approval of civil engineering plans for subdivision developments can often be a lengthy and drawn out process, in part due to resourcing challenges at Councils, which cause delays in the commencement of works. The inclusion of early works conditions on various Highland permits has been a critical time saving mechanism to enable sewer and bulk earthworks on site while the relevant engineering plans are being reviewed for approval, saving approximately six weeks for development of each of the relevant stages.
Furthermore, enabling early works allows for more certainty and forward planning when booking compliance inspections with the relevant RAP, with further savings of time and resources.
