_Orana Village Construction Update
You may recall that Collie assisted Coles in obtaining town planning approval in the form of a planning permit for a new local town centre off Pattersons Road in Clyde.
The approved development will form part of the growing Orana masterplanned community being delivered by Balcon.

Key features of the project are as follows.
- A full-line Coles supermarket comprising a floor area of 3,582 square metres.
- A separate ‘click and collect’ facility.
- A number of retail specialty stores, food and drink and commercial premises, including a Liquorland, gym and medical centre.
- A 500 square metres town square that is to be well landscaped and is to comprise designated seating zones and convenient pedestrian access through the activity centre.
- A standalone childcare centre for 125 childcare places.
- Several pad sites for future retail and commercial development.
- Car parking including covered car spaces and electric vehicle charging stations.
Since the issue of the permit in October 2024, development of the project has progressed significantly. Construction of the main supermarket building, as shown in the sketches below, childcare centre and commercial building are all well underway.
