_Construction Progresses Across Wattle Park

Since the issue of the permit in late 2022 for the ‘Wattle Park’ masterplanned community situated along the Werribee River in Tarneit, Collie has continued to provide post-permit planning assistance to Stockland.

Most recently, Collie assisted in the preparation and submission of applications to remove native vegetation from land to allow for development of the necessary major drainage outfall infrastructure required to service Wattle Park.  The first application has been approved by Wyndham City Council and the construction of Precinct B can now proceed.

Further to this, Collie, alongside the project team, assisted in seeking approval of minor amendments to the Precinct B layout under secondary consent and sought to satisfy various conditions of the permit, particularly pertaining to the managing of the Aboriginal and Post-Settlement heritage elements of the site. 

As evidenced below, the development of Precinct A (to the north) is nearing completion, while Precinct B works are just starting.
