_Highlands Lakeside Almost Complete

More than a decade since the original approval of residential subdivision known as ‘Subdivision Plan 30’ (SP30) or Lakeside, within the Highlands masterplanned community, the development area is nearing completion.  SP30 is situated within the Craigieburn R2 Precinct Structure Plan at the northeast corner of the Craigieburn Road and Whites Lane intersection, abutting Aitken Creek to the north. 

The subdivision has yielded approximately 700 lots with the final stage along Whites Lane set to commence shortly, while the development of the wetlands adjacent to Aitken Creek is also underway.

Collie has continued to provide planning assistance with this permit area since its approval and is pleased to see the progress and near completion of this positive contribution to Highlands.
