_New Medium Density for The Grove

Collie has been assisting Frasers with obtaining planning approval for a medium density superlot that will comprise 41 townhouses within its ‘The Grove’ masterplanned community in Tarneit.

The approved townhouses sit adjacent to the Davis Creek waterway reserve and an existing local park and the approval will boost the housing density in the area, providing more affordable housing options within the masterplanned community. 

Collie, as part of the broader project team, assisted in seeking approval from Wyndham City Council with negotiations required to resolve the sloping interface between lot boundaries, the shared path network within the waterway corridor, the Growling Grass Frog conservation area and draft permit conditions negotiations.  Ultimately, the team was successful in reaching an appropriate resolution with Council, to support the delivery of an attractive and accessible waterway corridor to the benefit of adjacent lot owners and the broader community, without compromising the proposed number of lots.

Collie is pleased a permit has been issued and looks forward to the delivery of this medium density site.
