_UDIA FUNCTION – LEIGH MATTEWS ON FOOTY

The guest speaker at the UDIA September Luncheon was AFL legend and hall of fame member Leigh Matthews. Leigh spoke about his experiences as a hugely successful player and coach and about his more recent involvement in the sport as a media commentator and a member of the AFL rules committee.

Not surprisingly, discussion around the lunch tables also focused on footy matters with many different opinions and points of view being offered about this season’s competition and, in particular, about the finals prospects of the eight remaining teams.
