_SPEEDY TRAM WORKS

It is interesting to note that St Kilda Road forms one of the busiest tram lines in the world.  Between Saturday 4 July and Wednesday 8 July the tram tracks between The Domain in South Melbourne and Southbank Boulevard on the edge of the city, were fully removed and replaced with two new super stops partly constructed.

In our view it shows what can be done in a short time to finish significant projects that impact on public use and amenity.  We congratulate Yarra Trams on the way the works have been handled.
