Well done to Kaylah Malishev from Collie on completing her first 42km full marathon as part of the Medibank Melbourne Marathon Festival.

The Festival saw over 30,000 people participate in the full marathon, half marathon, 10km run, 5.7km run and 3km walk.  The marathon started outside the MCG and took participants down St Kilda Road, around Albert Park Lake and along the St Kilda beach front.  This year participants were given the opportunity to complete a lap around the grounds of the MCG before crossing the finish line inside the MCG in front of an estimated crowd of 25,000 in the stands.
