_church expansion approved

Collie was pleased to assist the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with an expansion of its existing (see below) church facility in Wantirna South.

The Collie role on the project was to advise on the quickest path for town planning approval and to work closely with the architect by suggesting revisions to the plans to maximise the likelihood of approval. Due to the cost of works falling below a particular threshold, Collie advised the client that a planning permit application could be made under the VicSmart planning provisions. Collie is pleased to advise that following the submission of the VicSmart planning permit application, a planning permit was issued by Knox City Council within two weeks and the development plans were endorsed shortly thereafter. Collie is pleased to be involved in the project and looks forward to its completion.
