_Skyrail Excursion

In exploring the 5km exercise zone, a Collie staff member was interested to note the progress on the Skyrail works along the Upfield corridor from Coburg Station to Moreland Station.

Whilst the project has been a contentious one, particularly amongst nearby residents, and is still incomplete, it was interesting to see the improvement the works have made to this area.  As part of these works, various upgrades have been made along the rail corridor including greater provision of shared pathways, landscaping and various recreational facilities (including playgrounds, basketball courts, dog parks, exercise stations and even table tennis tables).
