_CASEY GARDENS: INDICATIVE LANDSCAPE CONCEPT

Collie worked on the Casey Gardens Development Plan in consulation with Casey City Council. Casey Gardens will be a high density residential development set within a landscape canvas. As part of this project Collie provided masterplanning and landscape architecture assistance.

Casey Gardens Landscape principles included the use of a variety of native and exotic canopy trees, shrubs and grasses to reflect the established landscape character in Narre Warren and the application of a complementary mix of hard and soft landscape elements predicated on functionality and visual amenity. The Landscape design proposed not only connections between the built form and movement corridors but also sensitive interfaces with the surrounds such as the retention of the mature native trees along the frontage to Fullard Road and the provision of a landscaping feature at the main entrance on Fullard Road.
