_The Grove, Southwest Precinct

Collie assisted the client in obtaining town planning approval for the subdivision of land known as the ‘Southwest Precinct’. 

The subdivision is the latest addition to The Grove residential community and will comprise over 720 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities as well as the continuation of a drainage corridor that traverses the site form north to south.  The east and west sides of the subdivision will be connected via a central pedestrian crossing and an integrated shared path network will provide connections to large area of open space within the subdivision and the surrounding future development.

Another feature of the subdivision is the Growling Grass Frog (GGF) conservation reserve in the southern part of the site.  This conservation reserve adjoins the Werribee River, will include a number of habitat ponds for the GGF and will from part of the future Werribee Township Regional Park.   

As part of the town planning services, Collie liaised closely with the project team and Wyndham City Council.  We look forward to the development of this new part of The Grove commencing.
