_HIGHLANDS MEDICAL CENTRE

Collie provided town planning services to Stockland for the development of a medical centre in Highlands, Craigieburn. The medical centre will include a reception area and waiting rooms, consulting rooms, specialist consulting rooms, additional office space and an internal courtyard. The centre will allow for up to 25 practitioners to consult at any given time and therefore, is proposed to provide substantial health care services.

At present, the ratio of health practitioners to residents within Craigieburn is below than that of metropolitan Melbourne by more than 50 per cent in some instances and as a result, there is significant demand for new health practitioners in Craigieburn. Collie looks forward to the medical centre being developed as the centre will be a feature building in Craigieburn and will assist in providing much needed health services.
