Collie worked with the client in obtaining town planning approval for the subdivision of land known as ‘Subdivision Plan 19’ (SP19) in Craigieburn.  SP19 will be the newest addition to this extensive and successful development. 

The approved subdivision comprises 130 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities.  A number of these lots will also have a direct frontage to Mt Aitken Reserve, a large area of public open space which provides 360 degree views of the surrounding area and the Melbourne skyline.

SP19 is close to current and existing schools, public transport routes, a community centre and large areas of open space including sporting fields. 

As part of its town planning services, consideration had to be given to the existing Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water trunk water pipeline assets in the area and how the subdivision would address any concerns of these authorities.  In addition to preparing the planning permit application, Collie assisted in responding to a request for further information.
