_THE GROVE WEST

Collie assisted the client in obtaining town planning approval for the subdivision of land known as ‘The Grove West’, in Tarneit. The Grove West adds to the adjoining Grove East precinct, which is nearing completion.

The approved subdivision comprises over 780 lots with a mix of conventional and medium densities. The subdivision will also deliver a range of facilities to service the local population including a sports oval, community centre, primary and secondary schools, a variety of local parks and a town centre. The town centre will include a supermarket, as well as commercial, mixed use and specialty retail.

Another key feature of the subdivision is the incorporation of a large public open space that also functions as a drainage corridor that traverses the site from north to south. Shared paths along the reserve will connect to the broader public open space network and surrounding future development.

As part of the town planning services, Collie liaised closely with the project team and Wyndham City Council, in particular in negotiating the design of the town centre.

We understand that sales have already commenced and Collie looks forward to the development of The Grove West.
